Thank you for visiting No Money? No Meat!

I started eliminating meat from my family’s diet in January of 2011. I made a bet with my husband; that I could save our family money and eat healthier in the process. He was very hesitant at first. He was very concerned about our protein sources, getting enough to eat, and how much salad he would have to eat. We started with a week without meat and then we tried a month. We rarely eat salad and are not wasting away. We save over $300 monthly! We are still going strong today and saving money doing it.

Nine months later, at the request of skeptical family and friends, I decided to start a photo blog of my recipes and meals. I am often asked, “What do you eat?” or “isn’t it too expensive to eat that healthy?” I enjoy the challenge of saving money and providing healthy food for my family. I want to share tips and recipes that are working for my family.
